Reroot Materials

On the Dollcrafter Marketplace we sell loose doll hair, reroot tools, refill needles, and fabric glue as part of a kit or individually. These are the key materials you will need to complete any doll reroot.

First of all you will need loose doll hair and a tool to allow you to insert the hair into the doll’s head. You will also need some extra reroot needles to refill the tool as they may wear down or break while rerooting the doll. Finally, you will need fabric glue to put inside the doll's head once you have finished the reroot to prevent the hair from falling out.

Repaint Materials

We currently sell sets of watercolor colored pencils for doll faceups and repaints. These can be used on their own to add makeup and details to a doll's face. They can also be used to repaint a dolls face when layered with a matte sealant.

Used Dolls

While you may not think of a used doll as customization supplies, having a doll is essential to the customization process. If you do not have a doll at home that you want to customize, buying a cheap used doll is a great solution, as the doll you are customizing does not need to be in good condition anyway.
